In the Gospel of Matthew we hear the Lord
say, "Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me."
Jesus is our teacher. As disciples, we are invited to learn.
What does Jesus want to teach us and what does He want us to do with His
teaching? As we grow closer to Him individually, we build up His
body, our Church. We are invited to see ourselves as loved and use
this love to nurture a community of beloved faithful. This retreat
will afford us the opportunity to listen, respond, and with prayer, better
use His grace to build up the Kingdom. We need to listen to the
voice of our Teacher!
There will be conferences, time for personal and communal prayer and
sharing.

Jesus: God's Word to
Women
Then and Now
with
Sylvia Genesse, p.m.
There are numerous gospel stories of Jesus relating to women in different
situations. For some, His word brought healing, to others peace and
faith and to some the invitation to share in His mission. His words
spoken two thousand years ago are as powerful today for women who come to
Him with their own desires, brokenness and faith struggles.
This women's retreat will look at Jesus' relationship with women.
Participants will be invited to take time for personal prayer, to listen
and reflect on the spoken Word that enlightens, strengthens and even
challenges one who wishes to be a follower of Jesus today.

with
Marie May
Lausier, p.m.

our Baptism. At his inspiration, we will press on with Mary into the
underlying themes of Marie Rivier's spirituality. Through Lectio
Divina the Gospel will engage us and transform us into temples of the
living God. Thus, we will ratify what was done in Baptism, live in a
deepening friendship with the Trinity dwelling within us and awaken it in
others.

Young Adults’
Advent Retreat:
Mission Impossible?
with
William
Brown, OMV
David Nicgorski, OMV
Ever wondered
what is the purpose, mission or vocation of your life? There is no
more fundamental question for each person. All of us want to know
our path, which ultimately gives meaning to our life, but at times
frustrates us because it is not always clear. In order to discover
our mission and vocation, we have to involve God, for He is the only one
who can help us find the reason why we were born. In preparation for
Christmas, this Advent retreat for young adults in their 20's and 30's
will provide an opportunity to discover one's vocation and mission in
life as well as deepen the one we have already chosen. There will be
individual and community prayer, as well as quiet moments to get away from
the busyness of life and draw closer to Christ.

"Come and see." And, with Him explore how we find God speaking to us
through our every day common experiences. This is not a retreat
about golf. It is about increasing our longing for God and finding
Him, even on the gold course! It is about life and walking with
Jesus over the fairways of our life. Come and share with us how you

Eating Tear Soup: Grieving the Losses in Life
Grief is the process that we go through as we adjust
to the loss of
anything or anyone important in our life.
with
Helene Cote, p.m.
Some cooking requires that you measure
ingredients exactly. But, making soup is different. With soup
making, you improvise and your only goal is to create something that will
both satisfy your hunger and soothe what hurts you. This weekend we
will look at the ingredients that are needed to make "Tear Soup"; that is,
the time and the space needed to grieve, to reflect on what will support
us as we move through the grief, and to explore the opportunities for
growth that accompany any loss.

Scripture Retreat: Lectio Divina
The word of God is alive and active;
sharper than any two-edged sword.
with
Aline Plante, p.m.
God's Word is addressed to us personally!
If we read Scripture as truly the Word of God, it is a personal
communication to each of us. Scripture is not simply a report
of the word of God spoken long ago, like a magazine article; it is the
Word of God being spoken to us in the Here and Now. This
weekend, we will learn about Lectio Divina, (Divine Reading); a method
used in early Christianity to read and pray Scripture. In our day,
it is being rediscovered by many individuals and groups and has become
very popular. We will practice the various methods, for individuals
as well as groups.
Retreat will include conferences, prayer experiences, quiet prayer,
reflection and sharing the Word of God.

Palm Sunday Young Adults Retreat:
The Prodigal Sons
with
William Brown, OMV
David Nicgorski, OMV
Your brother was dead and has come to
life again; he was lost and has been found.
(Luke 15:32)
These words come from the well known story
of the prodigal son. However, in this story there is not just one
prodigal son, but rather two. Both of them are recklessly wasteful
when it comes to their father's generosity and goodness; one for his
excessive greed, one for his excessive righteousness. As a result,
both sons are kept from receiving the generosity; goodness and love of the
father. At different times in our lives, we too have some of the
same dynamics within our heart. As a result we miss the gift that
God wants to give us and through us, to give to others.
In preparation for Easter, this Lenten retreat for young adults in their
20's and 30's will provide an opportunity to discover how God is calling
us to be transformed by His grace and forgiveness. There will be
individual and community prayer, as well as quiet moments to get away from
the busyness of life and draw close to Christ.

The Heart: The Place of Prayer
Remember, where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also (Mt.6:21)
with
Susan Frederick, p.m.
Sylvia Genesse, p.m.
The Heart is the center of who we are in
relationship to God, self and others. In our heart we hold a mystery
greater than ourselves. Our heart is our capacity to listen and
perceive the ways of God, but at times it is cluttered with cares and
concerns that can distract us from our purpose.
In this women's retreat you will be invited to look at the work of the
heart using Scripture and the wisdom of the saints. The storeroom of
our heart is that place where God's word can abide and where we find our
treasure.

prayer, reflection and sharing of our experiences as grandparents.

Jane McAllister
Mary Ann DeTrana

possibilities of learning to live more gently and easily in an overly busy

Through scripture, icons, discussion and gentle relaxation exercises,
participants will experience increased awareness of how they are living
and ways they might change. All will be offered the opportunity for
a private Feldenkrais® lesson with either
presenter.
What is the Feldenkrais® Method? This unique learning process gently
guides the student through a delicate and safe sequence of movements.
This technique is done most often lying on the Practitioner's table
