Vocation Retreat:
Intimacy with God through the Vowed Life
with
Linda Mae Plourde, p.m.
"Lord, teach us how to pray."
This refrain is often a plea for solitude, a yearning to deepen and widen
a living relationship with God. Fruitful love and service flow from
such a relationship, especially when prayer is central to life
experiences. This retreat will focus on prayer and on how those
consecrated to God vow to live radically their intimacy with the Beloved.
Those interested in Consecrated Life will benefit most from this retreat.
Cost: $135.00
Arrival: 6:30 PM / Friday

Jesus: God's Word to
Women
Then and Now
with
Sylvia Genesse, p.m.
There are numerous gospel stories of Jesus relating to women in different
situations. For some, His word brought healing, to others peace and
faith and to some the invitation to share in His mission. His words
spoken two thousand years ago are as powerful today for women who come to
Him with their own desires, brokenness and faith struggles.
This women's retreat will look at Jesus' relationship with women.
Participants will be invited to take time for personal prayer, to listen
and reflect on the spoken Word that enlightens, strengthens and even
challenges one who wishes to be a follower of Jesus today.
Cost: $145.00
Arrival: 6:30 PM / Friday
Departure: 1:00 PM / Sunday

The Heart: The Place of Prayer
Remember, where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also (Mt.6:21)
with
Susan Frederick, p.m.
Sylvia Genesse, p.m.
The Heart is the center of who we are in
relationship to God, self and others. In our heart we hold a mystery
greater than ourselves. Our heart is our capacity to listen and
perceive the ways of God, but at times it is cluttered with cares and
concerns that can distract us from our purpose.
In this women's retreat you will be invited to look at the work of the
heart using Scripture and the wisdom of the saints. The storeroom of
our heart is that place where God's word can abide and where we find our
treasure.
Cost: $135.00
